SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance

- Program Description: This messaging program sends appointment confirmations, booking reminders, scheduling updates, and customer support communications to clients who have booked an automotive detailing service with Absolve Detailing through our website or scheduling forms, and have explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications. Opt-in is collected via web forms with a dedicated checkbox for SMS consent.

- Cancellation Instructions: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

- Support Information: If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or reach out directly to [email protected] during standard business hours.

- Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

- Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your service usage and appointment schedule. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

- Supported Carriers: Our SMS program works with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional carriers.

- Age Restriction: You must be 18 years or older to participate in our SMS program.

We comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines, regarding the use of SMS communications.

General Terms & Service Delivery

This website and its booking platforms are owned and operated by Absolve Detailing ("COMPANY," "we" or "us"). By using this site, requesting a quote, or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Mobile Service Environment & Requirements

Because Absolve Detailing provides mobile automotive reconditioning services, the customer must ensure the following conditions are met at the time of the service appointment:

- Working Space: The vehicle must be parked in a safe workspace that allows all vehicle doors to open completely without obstruction.

- Access to Utilities: Unless explicitly agreed upon otherwise in writing, the customer must provide access to a reliable, standard electrical outlet and an exterior water spigot within 100 feet of the service location.

- Property Clear-Out: Customers must remove all personal items, valuables, child car seats, and trash from the interior of the vehicle prior to our team's arrival. Absolve Detailing is not responsible for any personal belongings left inside the vehicle during the cleaning process.

Weather & Operational Delays

Exterior detailing services are subject to environmental conditions. In the event of inclement weather (including but not limited to heavy rain, thunderstorms, extreme wind, or temperatures below 40°F), Absolve Detailing reserves the right to reschedule the appointment to the next available slot to preserve service quality and safety, without penalty or liability.

Payments, Cancellations, & Rescheduling

Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of the detailing service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and approved electronic payment methods. Any unpaid balances past 48 hours may be subject to late fees and collection costs allowed under Illinois law.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We value our technicians' time and plan schedules carefully.

- 24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling requests.

- Late Fee: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment window may incur a non-refundable cancellation fee up to $50 or 20% of the total service estimate, whichever is greater.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Limited License to You

This Site and all the materials available on the Site (including logos, branding elements, descriptions, and structural layouts) are the property of Absolve Detailing and/or our affiliates or licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Site is provided solely for your personal non-commercial use. You may not use, modify, copy, or distribute materials from the Site without explicit written authorization.

Your License to Us

By submitting reviews, before-and-after photos, or social media tags to us, you grant Absolve Detailing a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, distribute, modify, and display such content for marketing, promotional, and website portfolio purposes.

Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

Pre-Existing Damage Disclaimer

Absolve Detailing requires a quick walk-around assessment with the client before initiating any service.

- We are not liable for any pre-existing damage, including but not limited to chipped paint, deep paint scratches, torn upholstery, cracked leather, loose trim, cracked windshields, or faulty electronic components.

- Heavily soiled vehicles, severe mold, or deep pet hair removal may require intensive methods. While we use industry-standard care, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of deeply embedded stains or odors, and are not liable for wear and tear exposed during deep cleaning.

Limitation of Damages

The information, products, and services offered on or through the Site are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Illinois law, the total cumulative liability of Absolve Detailing for any claims, losses, or damages arising out of the services rendered shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the customer for that specific detailing service package.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Absolve Detailing, its owners, and employees from any claims or liabilities arising out of your breach of these Terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service and all relationships between Absolve Detailing and its clients shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall be settled exclusively in the small claims courts or appropriate state courts located in Will County, Illinois, which both parties agree is the sole and exclusive venue for resolving legal disagreements.

Changes to Terms of Service

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. The latest version will always be available on our website with the updated effective date at the top.
